The team tallied an impressive five goals in the opening frame and then notched one more in the second period to get the 6-2 win against a very talent Boston Pizza squad.
Cinderwood lost its opening game against Boston Pizza on Tuesday by a score of 3-1.
Boston Pizza scored all three goals in the first period before Cinderwood got on the board in the second frame of the contest.

Cinderwood Canucks 6, Boston Pizza/Yukon Rad 2
Jeff Quinsey and Jay Glass led the offensive charge for Cinderwood, each scoring two goals and adding two assists.
Frank Aucoin and Curt Campbell also notched a goal for the team in the victory.
Other Cinderwood notables include Mike L’Henaff and Kirk Gale, who each contributed two assists, while Jerry Wald and Randy Merkel finished with one assist.
Dave Pearson finished with two points for Boston Pizza, scoring once and adding an assist.
Dean Mastrangelo netted Boston Pizza’s other goal in the loss.
Jordan Borgford also played a solid game for Boston Pizza, finishing with two assists, while Nelson Turnbull contributed one assist.

Air North 7, Roadhouse 5
A total of nine goals were scored by both teams in the final period of play in the ‘A’ Divisional game on Thursday
Despite Roadhouse scoring three goals in the final 10 minutes of play, they were unable to overcome the deficit.
A power play goal by Air North with less than three minutes remaining in the contest put the game out of reach for Roadhouse.
Scott Horsey finished with an impress four-point total for Air North, scoring twice and adding two assists.
Darius Elias also played very well, notching two goals and adding one assist, while Greg Charlie concluded the game with one goal and two assists.
Ryan Kinney helped the cause by scoring once and adding one assist, while Shawn Kolak finished the game with one goal.
Tim McIntosh and Ben Harper each finished with two assists in the win.
Clayton Thomas displayed his offensive abilities for Roadhouse, scoring two goals and adding two assists, while Darren Van Langen also had an impressive game, finishing with one goal and one assist.
Other goal scorers on the team included Ryan Hodgins and Mark King.
Joe Mason contributed two assists in the loss, while Chris Johnson and Dave Larkin each added one assist.
