Darby McIntyre has claimed gold for the Yukon and Canada.
YUKON FLASH – Darby McIntyre has claimed gold for the Yukon and Canada. Pictured competing in the Vanier Ridge Run in May, the 15-year-old placed first in the five-kilometre run today at the 2015 World Summer Games in Los Angeles. Competing in Div. 2, McIntyre finished first in 18:36. McIntyre runs the 1,500-m tomorrow.

Hooray, Darby! You're a world class athlete and a star student! Darby's work ethic is inspirational, and he should be very proud of his accomplishments (even though he's also very modest). Bravo, and way to represent the Yukon so splendidly!
