SO IT BEGINS – Kaitlin Hibbs, right, applies sunscreen to Ann Raiho of the team ‘The Aurora Collective’ from Minnesota this morning. At noon, paddlers in the Yukon River Quest started the journey to the midnight sun. Teams will paddle 715 kilometres along the Yukon River to Dawson City, arriving between Friday and Saturday.
