SUPER SNOWBOARD START – Snowboard Yukon held their 2024 Yukon Champs last weekend. Participants took advantage of the banked slalom Fri­day, then Saturday held the Snowboard Cross. They had to cancel the Slopestyle events due to windy conditions Sunday, but they are working on plans to hold the Slopestyle event. Results can be found on the Snowboard Yukon website at snowboardyukon.com Above: River Mantyka-Pringle, left, Au­rora Mantyka-Pringle and Nellie Tremblay Morrisette Borlase start their run. River placed third, Aurora second and Tremblay Morrisette Borlase fifth.

TOP TWO – Aven Sutton, left, and Ginger MacDonald com­pete in the Snowboard Yukon 2024 Yukon Championships Saturday at Mount Sima. Sutton came in first in the event, with MacDonald placing second.
