Yukon Pickleball Day taking place this Sunday

Yukon Pickleball Day is coming up quickly.

Yukon Pickleball Day is coming up quickly.

It takes place this Sunday at the Canada Games Centre from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Three free pickleball sessions are being offered.

The Family session from 9 to 11 a.m and the Adult/Youth session from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. are full.

There are now close to 50 participants from ages 10 to 75 registered for the event.

The last event, the Corporate Challenge, takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. and has also filled up.

The Corporate challenge includes a range of government and private businesses, including the Yukon and Liberal parties, the City of Whitehorse, Bearclaw Industries, Snowline Gold, Computec Embroidery, Norah Mooney Law, Yukon Legal Services, Artemis Consulting, SUPStick and the Child Development Centre.

The public is welcome to come out and take in the action.
