Yukon archers have ‘very good’ Indoor Nationals

The Yukon Archery Academy had a very good Archery Canada Indoor Nationals Sunday at Takhini Elementary school in Whitehorse.

The Yukon Archery Academy had a very good Archery Canada Indoor Nationals Sunday at Takhini Elementary school in Whitehorse.

The Nationals take place at archery ranges across Canada. The scores are tabulated and the national medals are awarded.

According to coach Warren Kapaniuk, the Yukon archers had a “very good” competition, with great results overall.

Here are the results:

Mikayla Therriault – 1st Female Precub Barebow;

Shiori Monzo – 1st Female Precub Recurve;

Emmett Kapaniuk – 2nd Male Cadet Compound;

Gabriela Browning – 3rd Female Cadet Recurve;

Sofija Jewell – 4th Female Junior Compound;

Owen Bugg – 8th Male Cadet Recurve;

Finn Pearson – 20th Male Cadet Coumpound;

Delia Therriault – 6th Female Cub Compound;

Sheila Madahbee – 7th Female Masters Compound.
