The Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League faced off again last Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Wednesday night:
EDI 4, Capri CMW 4
Ron Cruikshank scored with 34 seconds left to cap a furious comeback for EDI as they came back from a two-goal deficit to earn the tie. George Maratos now has an oldtimer’s stat as he scored his first, and Brian Currie and Jeff Hunston added the other EDI goals. For Capri, it was Dave Wipf, Joel Witten (top cheddar!), Al Hansen and Travor Willier with markers.
Firth 4, Yukon Inn 3
The line of Chris Carli, Nate Clark and Shawn Kinsella were buzzing all night for Firth as they each scored a goal, and Peter Kirby netted the other. For the Inn, it was Kevin Topping, Kevin Johnstone and Rob Green doing the damage.
Thursday night:
Kilrich 6, Tim Horton’s 3
Kilrich used a balanced attack to double Tim Hortons in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Thursday night at Takhini Arena. Mike Sage (on a lucky rebound), Wade Harrison, Bryar Young, Sean MacLeish, Johnny Sembsmoen and Rick Moses did the damage for the lumber crew. For Tims, Lorne Burnett served up a pair of goals, and Chris Nash had the other.
Medicine Chest 5, Air North 1
Geordan Clark scored twice to lead the Chest chaps to their first win of the season, and Gus Morberg, Martin Lawrie and Gerry Brandt also tallied. Ty Heffner scored the lone goal for the flyers.
