Glen Traverse rebounded from a touchdown-against outing his last game to post the shutout to lead Yukon Inn past EDI 5-0 in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Thursday night at Takhini Arena.
Glen Traverse rebounded from a touchdown-against outing his last game to post the shutout to lead Yukon Inn past EDI 5-0 in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Thursday night at Takhini Arena. The veteran netminder stopped several breakaways, and was aided on offence by Gary McKellar (with a pair), Willy McKenna, Gerry Brandt and Greg Lane.

D-man Colin Nash flossed the Capri defence with a couple of highlight reel goals, and Danny Johnson, Frank Aucoin and Duane Purych also added markers. Peter Deer scored on a nifty deflection to get Capri on the board.

Medicine Chest 5
Titanium used their stored-up power play energy to full extent on Wednesday as they scored three extra-man goals to key their win. Rick Moses and Chris Carli each scored two goals (one apiece on the pp) and Russ McDiarmid (!) also scored with the man advantage. Other goals came off the sticks of Luke Johnson, Blaine Demchuk and newcomer Kris King.
League scoring leader Nate Clark once again led Medicine Chest with a hat trick, and solo pills came from Rick Smith and Ben Campbell.
Kilrich 5 Air North 2
Ben Kielb and Arlo O’Riordan each hammered home two goals in victory, and Mark King drilled one for still-unbeaten Kilrich.
Travis Ritchie and George Maratos landed one each for Air North.
