WOHL returns to action; Terry brews up a win for Tim’s

Tim Hortons local CEO/CFO/COO/CPO Doug Terry showed his leadership by scoring the second hat trick

Tim Hortons local CEO/CFO/COO/CPO Doug Terry showed his leadership by scoring the second hat trick of his illustrious oldtimers career to propel his Timbits to a 6-1 win over CapriCMW in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Thursday night at Takhini Arena.

Mark Weaver, with his first oldies goal, and Chris Nash also scored for Tims.

Garrett Kuptana, on a nifty deke, replied for Capri.

Yukon Inn 3 Air North 3

Willy ‘Gavin’ McKenna scored the game tying goal with 15 minutes left on the clock to give Yukon Inn the tie. Brad Hameister and Gary McKellar also scored for the Inn.

For Air North, it was Brian Currie, Scott Olafson and Mike Sage winging in goals.

Wednesday

Medicine Chest 5 EDI 2

Shawn Kinsella scored four times to lead the Chest chaps to victory, and Kevin Topping got the other. Kevin Johnstone netted both for EDI.

Kilrich 4 Titanium Storage 3

Mark King nailed the winner with just under eight minutes remaining as the builders hung on to victory. Anthony Grottoli popped a pair in the win, and Martin Lawrie sniped the other.

For Titanium, it was Josh Savill with two and Blaine Demchuk with a solo effort.

In season-opening action on Sunday, Firth beat Medicine Chest 9-6, Capri CMW and Kilrich tied 3-3, Yukon Inn downed Tim Hortons 6-1, and Titanium Storage got by EDI 8-3.
