Biathlon Yukon held their end of season Slush Cup and Volunteer Appreciation Day Sunday afternoon at the biathlon range.
Given the chilly temperatures in the morning, the Slush Cup didn’t exactly live up to its name – seeing as there was an absence of slush.
However, the skiing conditions were pristine.
During the Slush Cup, biathletes split into teams of two. Each team member had 14 minutes on the course to ski and shoot.
The course was contained to within the stadium.
Points were earned for laps completed and targets hit, but that wasn’t the only scoring system.
The biathletes donned costumes and were awarded points on creativity.
It was a fun atmosphere, a great way to finish a season.
