Twenty-year-old Bronwyn Pasloski has been named a captain of the Indiana Hoosiers swim and dive team.
Twenty-year-old Bronwyn Pasloski has been named a captain of the Indiana Hoosiers swim and dive team.
Pasloski recently completed her third season with the NCAA Div. 1 team.
The youngest daughter of Yukon Premier Darrell Pasloski will be one of three seniors captaining the squad next season, alongside Brenna MacLean and Lindsay Vrooman. Junior swimmer Dorina Szekeres was also named a captain.
"It's an extreme honour and privilege to be able to call myself a captain on such a great team,” Pasloski told the Star.
"This year I have made a lot of strides both in and out of the pool, such as making a second swim at the NCAA championship for the first time and earning Academic All-Big Ten Honours.”
Pasloski said she has worked hard to play a leadership role with the Hoosiers, an effort that was noticed and rewarded by the program's coaches.
