Huge turnout for Alpine Yukon Sima Cup
There was a huge turnout for the Sima Cup held by Alpine Yukon.
There was a huge turnout for the Sima Cup held by Alpine Yukon.
The Cup took place Feb. 17-18 at Mount Sima near Whitehorse.
The giant slalom (GS) took place Saturday, followed by the slalom on Sunday.
Th races featured U8-U18 and Masters categories.
Over 60 skiers competed in a giant slalom Saturday.
The Star was there to capture images of the racers.

Vince puts on his crampons and wonders down the hill, capturing images. Suzie is starting her daughter.
Suzie's dad was instrumental in the race scene at Whistler.
We have big horses in this town.
Vince does a great job of capturing things most people have no idea are happening.
