The host team from Faro, "Roll Another One,” went undefeated in the tournament to win the Elderactive Recreation Association carpet bowling tournament held in Faro on Friday and Saturday.
The next community tournament will be in Teslin next spring.
Seven teams comprised of four players each competed in the tournament, which included three Faro teams, two Whitehorse teams, and a team from both Teslin and Tagish.
Besides the results, highlights included the good food and camaraderie, said spokesperson Spence Hill.
The Elderactive Recreation Association is committed to promoting active living through recreation for seniors age 55-plus.
The club will host its semi-annual meeting in Whitehorse this Friday and Saturday.
An annual membership costs $10.
The Whitehorse carpet bowlers play every Wednesday morning at the Canada Games Centre.
