F.H. Collins and St.Francis split the titles in the Supervolley series.

F.H. Collins and St.Francis split the titles in the Supervolley series.

The finals of the series served off Friday at St.Francis.

In the girls’ final, F.H. won in straight sets, 25-12, 25-16 and 25-19.

In the boys’ final, St. Francis took the title in four close, hard-fought sets, 25-17, 19-25, 25-21 and 25-23.

Yukon Schools Athletic Association (YSAA) President Kristen Johnston said the “Supervolley went very well. Lots of close sets and great plays from all the teams.”

Johnston added “A special thank you to our officials and coaches, we couldn’t do it without you.”

The boys’ All-Stars were:

Chase Tuton – F.H. Collins

John Minguito – F.H. Collins

Kade Bringsli – Porter Creek Secondary School

Fynn Bradford-Andrew – Porter Creek Secondary School

Gabby cuenza – St. Francis

Sebastian Tajonera – St. Francis

Gabby Cuenza – St. Francis

The MVP was Angelo Caringal of St. Francis.

The girls’ All-Stars were:

Ada Stehelin – Porter Creek Secondary School

Zora Martin – Porter Creek Secondary School

Tenisha Mayes – F.H. Collins

Cambria Alford – F.H. Collins

Jewnwel Junsay – St. Francis

Sophia Doyle – St. Francis

And the MVP was Kate Muller of F.H. Collins.
