It was a varied field of runners who turned out in fair weather for Sunday morning’s Cross Country Championships hosted by Athletics Yukon at Mount McIntyre.

The 45 competitors ranged in age from as young as three years old up to 60-plus.

Three-year-old Juniper Morash was the only runner in her age class, and she finished the 500-metre course in a time of four minutes and 38 second.

Dominic Bradford dominated the 8,000-metre course in a time of 30:07 and Maura Sullivan posted the fastest time for women in the 6,000-metre, with time of 26:43.
