Alpine Yukon wins 16 medals in Teck North Zone Finals

Alpine Yukon competed in the Teck North Zone Finals at Smithers, B.C. April 15-17.

Alpine Yukon competed in the Teck North Zone Finals at Smithers, B.C. April 15-17.

The club brought home 16 medals.

The Giant Slalom took place on April 15 and the Slalom took place on April 16.

The Team Dual Slalom took place April 17. It was a mixed team event. Yukon's Gregory Yurkiv, Carson Nelson and Julia Florentin received Silver medals. Molly Milner received the Bronze medal.

Annie Heffner, Tori Vollmer and Mackenzie Jenner were back from the Alpine National Championships in Mount Tremblant, Quebec, which took place March 28-April 3.

The previous posted results included the official national points results, but not the medal/podium results for Alpine Yukon. Those results are in the attached pictures.
