Susan Rae, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully in Whitehorse on July 20, 2023 at the age of 72, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.

She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Kaegi, and is survived by her son Christopher Hankel (Jennifer), daughter Ida, stepson Simon (Erin) and grandchildren Allison, Amelia, Adam, David and Emma.  She is also survived by her siblings Alan (Joan), Murray, and Janet (Ken), and their families.

The family is holding a celebration of life for Susan on August 22, 2023, at Whitehorse United Church at 2:00 PM (PDT). For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on the Whitehorse United Church Facebook page and available for later viewing.
