Matthew “Matt” Robert Lafferty
Jan.25, 1946 to Apr. 15, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew “Matt” Robert Lafferty (Jan.25, 1946 to Apr. 15, 2023). He was a loving father, grandfather and husband, as well as a reliable and supportive friend.
A huge thank you to the Whitehorse Hospital staff and First Nations Health, especially his niece Tracy, for taking such good care of him.
Cathy, Noria, Onur and Eli will miss him dearly.
A service will be announced at a later date.

When I went to Matt and Cathy's wedding Matt had to pick me up. He was very nervous that day, but so excited. Cathy, I know I can speak for Reita when I say we send our hugs and love.

Oh my gosh, he had a kind heart, somedays, when we had our four kids and I would go shopping and needed a ride home, he would kindly offer me a ride. I did not know he was from NWT. <3
