In Loving Memory of Dereen Ellen Hildebrand
September 20, 1952 – January 23, 2004
It has been nineteen years since your
unexpected parting. Thoughts about you are
often by your family, friends, and community.
Your brush strokes are always on our hearts
and minds. You will always be missed amongst
all of us, and the memories of you and your
wonderful contributions will linger with us.
We know that your passion for painting is
being well displayed as we walk through life
and see the wonders that surround us that
remind us of you.
May God’s Blessings be upon you, Always.

I miss her lovely window art. It was always a harbinger of Rendezvous!

Years ago, Dereen would visit and we would stretch our own canvas..she would gaze out a window, sketch and paint backyard sheds, an abandoned greenhouse and clay cliffs near Hanson Street. Her silent, peaceful repose ~ solitude flight into Art.

Dereen was an important part of our community, She brought cheer and warmth to the cold dark winters with her window art and cheerful personality. It is wonderful to be able to think of her again through this remembrance. She was definitely gone way too soon.
