CARPENTIER, Maxim Lewis

Sunrise April 4, 1949 - Sunset January 26, 2023

Maxim Lewis Carpentier was born in Dease Lake, British Columbia and passed away suddenly on January 26, 2023 at the age of 73 in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Maxim is survived by his wife Valerie and stepson Joseph, mother Mona Nehass-Carpentier; his brother Carl Carpentier and wife Sharon Gairdner and their children Jessie, Carl, Lorena, and Nyla; his brother Clint Carpentier and his children Jodie and Jenelle and partner Leanne Brassard; his sister Lorrie Carpentier-Buth and her children Clint, Thomas, and Heather; nieces Doreen Booth and Rachel Wallace; nephew Joey and niece Kim Koyczan. He is pre-deceased by his sisters Kim Carpentier and Debra May Wallace, and brothers Joey Courtoreille and Ray Carpentier.

Max loved music and played the guitar and sang. He enjoyed a good jam session especially with his brothers who are musicians, and he would often join brother Clint and his Yukon Jack Band when they were performing. He loved Willie Nelson and was nicknamed "Little Willie".

Cremation has taken place. Service will be announced.
