It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Karen Jewell on the 14 October 2023. Barbara was Born at the Whitehorse General Hospital on 13 November 1952.

She was one of 4 children to longtime Yukoners Kenneth Johnston & Ethel Johnston.  


Barbara is survived by her sister Sandra, daughter Andrea Jones (grandchildren) Ashley Dewar & Ryan Jones (Kaylee)
Great-grandchildren Emma & Mikey and sons Robert Dawe, Mike Albertini (Astra) grandchildren Tao, Gage & Kinsley. 


 Barb was a long time member of the Elks Lodge, a very proud Yukoner and always had her door open to help other people or to just have a coffee. 


 There will be a funeral side reception at the Grey Mountain Cemetery on the 18 November 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with a small reception to follow. The Family would like to thank Dr. Lambert and the staff in the ICU for all they did for her.
