At approximately 2:45 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of a deceased female at a residence in the McIntyre subdivision.
Whitehorse RCMP, the Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate in partnership with the Yukon Coroner’s Service, police said Wednesday.
No further information was made available.
“An update will be provided when further details can be released,” police said.
Anyone with information regarding the death, or who has information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the police at 667-5551.

Based on recent and long-term statistics, this lady may have perished due to either a drug overdose or an act of violence. Condolences to her family and friends.

Hmmm. Another "sudden death" surely it can't be related to the countless that's happening world wide can it.. I wonder if they're allowed to do an autopsy on her?
