I am sick and tired of the pathetic justice system and the left leaning judge’s giving the criminals a slap on the wrist and the crown giving NO SUPPORT to the victims.

According to CBC, one of the charges this guy is facing is 'Failing to comply with release order conditions.' So, this is yet another person that a judge and the court have slapped on the wrist and released back into the public in spite of being what the police describe (also from CBC) as a 'High risk prolific offender' and this time a police officer was shot because of it. We need to be able to start suing and firing judges and parole boards every time they make a decision that costs an innocent person injury or harm.

Hey totally understand staying outta the tape zone, y’all doing your jobs.
But asking everyone to stay away from the area is a bit rich.
I drive by that place three or four times a day, as do buses and many other folks...busy damn place this Portland North of 60
Law enforcement in general is getting very comfortable with shelter in place orders, expansive crime scenes, and locking entire neighbourhoods down “looking for suspects”.
If traveling around with reasonable freedom is not possible due to “danger”? Maybe if that threshold is so high, the danger, perhaps citizens should be permitted open carry handguns?
Speaking generally, not about M and their appropriate response to this historical den of drugs.
Good job M and I hope your member heals up and does not have career comprising injuries.

We know the property. It was used by a bootlegger and drug dealer for many years.

Want information? Just talk to the person on the street. They'll get it before the media. Yawn.

Going out on a limb, drugs/guns/ammo/cash/ fatalities/other injuries will unfortunately be at the scene.
People will be arrested and set free on bail.
Guilty parties will be from B.C.
Mounties do their jobs and the justice system fails again.
