It was a night of shutouts (and almost shutouts) as the Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey season wrapped up its pre-Christmas schedule at Takhini Arena Sunday night.

Tim Horton's Paul Dainton and Medicine Chest's Gerald Tetlichi let nothing past them in their teams' victories, and EDI's Stacey Bowden came within an own goal of notching a shutout as well.

Tim Hortons 7, Firth 0

Josh Savill scored the first three goals of the game, Patrick Isabelle il a marque deux buts as did Dave Wipf. Dainton stopped all Firth shots.

Medicine Chest 13, Air North 0

Mike Gau and Gerry Brandt each scored three in the win, Jamie Cairns and Geordan Clark added two apiece, and one each came from Peter Deer, Jeremy Germaine and Phil MacDonald. Tetlichi was a rock in net.

EDI 9, Kilrich 1

Only an own goal (credited to Kilrich goalie Jim Antonissen) on an errant pass spoiled Bowden's shutout. Gus Morberg and Derick Bilodeau potted two each, and single goals were fired in by Willy McKenna, Geoff Quinsey, Gerry Rivest, Vernon Asp and Pat Tobler.

Yukon Inn 4, Titanium Storage 3

Adam Lightfoot led the charge with a brace of goals for the Inn, and the others came from Frank Aucoin and Wade Hanna. Scott Palfreyman, Kyle Rolling and Lance Bevilacqua replied for the Titans.

Thursday

George Maratos scored his second goal of the game on the powerplay with only 54 seconds left to earn the tie for the fly guys. Chad Cowan and Scott Palfreyman replied for the Titans.

Wednesday

Devon Sla(y)de the Kilrich dragon with four goals in Firth's upset win. Peter Johnston added a trio of goals, and Jordan Borgford and Mark Wierda added one apiece. Four different skaters connected for Kilrich – Duane Purych, Shawn Kinsella, Chris Nash and Ryan Martin.
