Importance of COVID vaccines for kids stressed
The Yukon government is continuing to stress what it sees as the importance of children receiving the COVID-19 vaccines.
The Yukon government is continuing to stress what it sees as the importance of children receiving the COVID-19 vaccines.
It likely won’t sway critics, but this morning the government issued a news release with information from the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) about the safety and effectiveness of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and recommending them for children and adolescents five years of age and older.
“The acting chief medical officer of health (Dr. Catherine Elliott) continues to recommend that children and youth keep their vaccines up-to-date to protect against the impacts of COVID-19 during the current wave and in the coming months as people consider increasing contacts and travel,” the release said.
“The Government of Yukon is providing COVID-19 vaccines for all Yukoners five years of age and older.
“Vaccination remains the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect children from severe outcomes related to the virus.
“These vaccines also prevent disruptions in educational, physical and social activities, which help promote mental wellness in children and youth.”
Tracy-Anne McPhee, the minister of Health and Social Services, said “vaccination remains our strongest protection against COVID-19 for everyone, including children aged five years and older.
“I hope the recommendations from the Canadian Paediatric Society helps to reassure parents that these vaccines are safe and effective for children and youth. I urge all parents and guardians to take advantage of this opportunity to vaccinate their children and youth.”
Elliott said, “I am pleased to see the Canadian Paediatric Society’s review of current evidence which is further support for child and adolescent vaccines.
“Vaccinations reduce the risk of infection and the risk of severe disease and its complications.
“Keeping children healthy means they will have more opportunities to benefit from school, sports, arts and recreational activities thereby reducing the overall impacts of the pandemic on their health and well-being now and into the future.”

@MatthewS, Repudiation is not Refutation.
Dr. Robert Malone is a pioneer of the technology behind the Covid-19 vaccines. He has researched, studied and helped develop vaccines for decades and has filed numerous patents - among many other scientific contributions. He is concerned about the way the Covid-19 jabs are being coerced on the masses and still has questions about the safety and efficacy of these shots. He describes them as more of a hybrid between vaccines and gene therapy.
As soon as he chose to advocate for the fundamental bioethics of the Covid "vaccine" issue, rather than join the "get the jab" campaign, he's been targeted, banned, and ridiculed. The Atlantic article-published on August 12th-is just the latest in the smear campaign against Dr. Malone.
This is his response to the Atlantic's Hit Piece.

I will probably regret this foray into the quagmire, but a counterpoint to the chorus is just irresistible. N of 60’s piece on Dr.Malone piqued my interest so, if you are interested there is an interesting article in the Atlantic on the subject. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2021/08/robert-malone-vaccine-inventor-vaccine-skeptic/619734/. Draw your own conclusions.

Well it was fun while it lasted but I clearly have been found out.
Thanks for the fun while it lasted.

There is so much evidence regarding the vaccines not working against the present covid variants and can be very harmful to children,
Elliott must be tone deaf.

Once again, glaring contradictions are made by our dearest CMO. In this article Elliott claims that “Vaccination remains the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19…”.
In fact, the covid vaccine does NOT prevent the spread of the covid virus, as has been demonstrated by studies. It’s a fact that many vaccinated people DID get sick with covid afterwards.
The Yukon government’s own December 30, 20221 webpage on covid stated that: “Omicron incubates quickly and transmits early, even among the vaccinated population…” and “COVID-19 vaccine ... does not prevent people from becoming infected and transmission of the virus.”
Prior to the vaccine, the great majority of people with covid experienced only mild symptoms. No wonder so many people don’t trust the medical establishment anymore, which keeps coming up with stuff that don't add up.

Oh, oh, more of those pesky facts, lol.
"Pfizer's COVID vaccine is just 12% effective in preventing Omicron infection in children aged five to 11, new study reveals - so why ARE health officials pushing parents to get their kids shots?"

Lots of risk. Zero benefit. It's hard to take comments seriously from readers who don't even get that Yukon Liberal is being ironic. Or recommendations from health officials who offer nothing of substance to support putting children at risk.

Sickening! These psychos won't stop at anything! Covid isn't even deadly to begin with! They can't even prove the long term side effects! Scary. 94+% of deaths over 65!

1) “Vaccination remains the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect children from severe outcomes related to the virus."
-Pfizer Shot Is Far Less Effective in 5- to 11-Year-Olds Than in Older Kids, New Data Show. While protection against hospitalization is still strong, the vaccine offered almost no protection against infection, even just a month after full vaccination.

2) “These vaccines also prevent disruptions in educational, physical and social activities, which help promote mental wellness in children and youth.”
-Those "disruptions" are artificially imposed via mandates and school closures. It's psychologically abusive to demand children shoulder the burden of the pandemic by denying them their basic rights to participate in society.

@Yukon Liberal
Obviously your comments are a just a satire of exaggerated Liberal points of view. The thing is, they bring nothing to the table. You just come across as an insufferable troll.
Anyways, everyone knows covid vaccines for toddlers aren't ready yet, but they could be any day, as they are scheduled for approval early 2022.
You are distracting from the actual article which states:
"Vaccination remains the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect children from severe outcomes related to the virus"
Last I checked the vaccine did not stop the spread, as proven by the fact that proportionally more vaccinated have covid than unvaccinated. Another strange thing about this comment is that last I checked the hospitals were not filling up with kids. Add to this that the vaccine trials only tested the shot against mild covid, so what gives with the 'severe outcomes'.
This must be a tough sell. Apparently covid is ending everywhere but the Yukon.
These recommendations from Elliott are as tired and worn out as Yukon Liberal's comments, and for that matter mine. Time for us all to move on. Where next? Cyber attacks, climate crisis, or food shortages blamed on Russia?

Dr. Robert Malone's Dire Warning to ALL Parents on mRNA "Vaccines"
https://rumble.com/vqq78c-dr.-robert-malones-dire-warning-to-all-parents-on-mrna-vaccines.html
TRANSCRIPT
-------------------
My name is Robert Malone, and I am speaking to you as a parent, grandparent, physician and scientist. I don’t usually read from a prepared speech, but this is so important that I wanted to make sure that I get every single word and scientific fact correct.
I stand by this statement with a career dedicated to vaccine research and development. I’m vaccinated for COVID and I'm generally pro-vaccination. I have devoted my entire career to developing safe and effective ways to prevent and treat infectious diseases.
Before you inject your child - a decision that is irreversible - I wanted to let you know the scientific facts about this genetic vaccine, which is based on the mRNA vaccine technology I created:
There are three issues parents need to understand:
● The first is that a viral gene will be injected into your children's cells. This gene forces your child’s body to make toxic spike proteins. These proteins often cause permanent damage in children’s critical organs, including
○ Their brain and nervous system
○ Their heart and blood vessels, including blood clots
○ Their reproductive system
○ And this vaccine can trigger fundamental changes to their immune system
● The most alarming point about this is that once these damages have occurred, they are irreparable
○ You can’t fix the lesions within their brain
○ You can’t repair heart tissue scarring
○ You can’t repair a genetically reset immune system, and
○ This vaccine can cause reproductive damage that could affect future generations of your family
● The second thing you need to know about is the fact that this novel technology has not been adequately tested.
○ We need at least 5 years of testing/research before we can really understand the risks
○ Harms and risks from new medicines often become revealed many years later
● Ask yourself if you want your own child to be part of the most radical medical experiment in human history
● One final point: the reason they’re giving you to vaccinate your child is a lie.
○ Your children represent no danger to their parents or grandparents
○ It’s actually the opposite. Their immunity, after getting COVID, is critical to save your family if not the world from this disease
In summary: there is no benefit for your children or your family to be vaccinating your children against the small risks of the virus, given the known health risks of the vaccine that as a parent, you and your children may have to live with for the rest of their lives.
The risk/benefit analysis isn’t even close.
As a parent and grandparent, my recommendation to you is to resist and fight to protect your children.

Israel just completed an active vaccine side effect survey. Among other things, 10% of women experienced menstrual cycle disruption. Does that sound like something you want to put in your daughter? Didn't think so.

There is no reason why we shouldn't be poking these kids out of the womb at this point.
The earlier we can make everyone covid compliant the faster we can get back to regular life. Those holding out are selfishly disregarding others freedom. When we are 100% vaxxed we can return to the regular life people have been complaining for.
