A fire late Thursday night at an old garage on Hanson Street is being considered suspicious.
A fire late Thursday night at an old garage on Hanson Street is being considered suspicious.
Fire crews responded to a structure (garage/shed) fire in the 200 block of Hanson St. shortly before 11 p.m., the fire department posted on social media.
“Quick access and fast knockdown were achieved. No injuries.”
Fire chief Jason Everitt told the Star this morning it took about five minutes to get the blaze under control once the department arrived.
He described the structure as being “very old.”
No damage estimates were immediately available.
Everitt said an investigator attended the scene this morning to try to establish a cause.
