Armed robber sought
Whitehorse RCMP are seeking to identify the suspect in an armed robbery that took place early Tuesday morning at the Petro Canada gas station/store on Fourth Avenue.
Whitehorse RCMP are seeking to identify the suspect in an armed robbery that took place early Tuesday morning at the Petro Canada gas station/store on Fourth Avenue.
Police said today they were contacted after the suspect left the store and conducted patrols, which have been unsuccessful in finding the person.
“The caller said that the suspect entered the store brandishing a weapon and stole cash from the till,” police said.
“An employee was also assaulted by the suspect during this incident.”
Police did not specify what type of weapon was used.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian, possibly female.
The robber was wearing a tied-up grey hoody that covered most of his or her face, a black jacket, black pants and black footwear.
Anyone who can identify the suspect, or who has other information about the robbery, is encouraged to call police at 667-5555.

...early Tuesday mornng... So that's what? 1 AM, 5 AM, perhaps even 7 AM? There is already enough vague in these investigations.
