This view has proved self-defeating
In his Dec. 6 column, “‘Just war’ and the Gaza Strip situation”, Gwynne Dyer argues that Israel’s war against Hamas, the Gaza-based Islamic fundamentalist terrorist group, cannot be considered “just” because of the allegedly high civilian casualties, calling Israel’s war “pointless killing.”
