TEC Drywall and Air Cargo share lead in softball standings

Players on KalTire and the Whitehorse Dental "Donkeys" are enjoying a fresh start to the season in the Whitehorse Co-Ed Slo-Pitch League.

Players on KalTire and the Whitehorse Dental “Donkeys” are enjoying a fresh start to the season in the Whitehorse Co-Ed Slo-Pitch League.

Both Division One teams are undefeated in the second half of league play with 2-0 records.

The Dental “Donkeys” can attribute its perfect record to its play in the field. The team has given up the fewest amount of runs in the second half, allowing only eight in two games.

The “Donkeys” are plus-13 and have scored 21 runs in total.

Despite giving up 10 more runs than the Dental “Donkeys”, KalTire has proven that it can win the close games.

It has a plus-eight rating and has scored 28 runs.

Division One has some of the closest competition in the league standings. Four teams are currently tied with the same amount of points, while one more is right in mix, trailing by just one win.

The Nuway Crushers can boast about having the best record in the league’s standings. The team sits at a perfect 4-0 in Division Two.

The Crushers are the only undefeated team in Division Two and are plus 19, scoring 61 runs and giving up 42.
