A 51-year-old man from Whitehorse has been charged with refusing to provide a breath sample, driving while disqualified and dangerous driving in relation to an incident that occurred Sunday morning outside Lizard’s Lounge.
RCMP officers received several reports of an erratic driver.
Police located the suspect vehicle near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Main Street. Attempts by police to stop the vehicle resulted in the driver accelerating into a police car.
The driver then backed into a second police vehicle.
