Jake Charlton nets seven goals in 10-2 U-7 Soccer League win

Jake Charlton got Pelly Construction off to a quick 2-0 lead and then added five more goals in the second half to seal the victory Tuesday in the U-7 Soccer League.

FUTURE STARS - Youth in the U7 Soccer League are seen in action Tuesday evening in the Canada Games Centre fieldhouse.

Jake Charlton got Pelly Construction off to a quick 2-0 lead and then added five more goals in the second half to seal the victory Tuesday in the U-7 Soccer League.

Pelly Construction won the game by a decisive score of 10-2 over Pacific Northwest Moving.

Dominic Cheeseman also had an outstanding game for Pelly Construction, netting the team’s remaining three goals.

Pelly Construction named Damon Kanary as its MVP.

With the score 6-0 in Pelly Constructions favour, Charlie Hawes scored the first goal for Pacific Northwest Moving.

Daniel Wilberforce added one more Pacific Northwest to make it 6-2, but that was as close as the team would get.

Hawes was named as MVP for Pacific Northwest.

The Soccer Shoppe 6, Jacob’s Industries 0

It was an overall complete game for the members on the Soccer Shoppe, who played tremendously at both ends of the field in the team’s game against Jacob’s Industries on Tuesday.

Kaelen Lewis and Mayson Peters gave the Soccer Shoppe a 2-0 lead by half-time.

Ben Shier netted the first two goals in the second half to give his team a 4-0 lead, before Lewis scored once again for the Soccer Shoppe.

Shier put in the team’s final goal, while Austin Au was named as the Soccer Shoppe’s MVP.

Hanna Jacobs won the MVP honour for Jacob’s Industries.

I scored a goal once so what’s the big deal! Seriously I think Jake is a special kind of guy and one day look forward to seeing him live in action. Popa David

Hey but did you score seven goals in one game Popa?!  We look forward to Jake’s continuing success in soccer, which really isn’t about the goals but about having fun, staying active, and showing good sportsmanship.
