Police seeking violent intruder

The public’s assistance has been requested in locating a suspect involved in a break and enter that occurred at a cabin near Little Fox Lake.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight on Monday, when neighbours discovered and confronted an unknown individual inside the cabin.

The neighbours were assaulted by the individual, one of them suffering a dislocated shoulder.

The RCMP was notified of the incident immediately.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with blond short hair, fair skin, pointed nose, large forehead, slim to medium build and approximately 1.83 metres or six feet tall.

The suspect was last seen wearing white running shoes, dark, tight-fitting jeans and carrying a dark-coloured hiking backpack with red markings on it.

The suspect may speak with an accent and have broken English. The suspect may be travelling to Dawson.
