Riverdale soccer fields were jammed with 25 teams and 250 players for the Yukon Soccer Champions held over the weekend.

While most of the 50 clubs were local, there was also representation from Dawson City and Haines Junction.

Whether it was the youngest Under-9 boys event or the oldest U-16 girls category, intensity was evident at all levels.

Moes Tavern won the U-9 boys championship and Marble Slab Creamery finished with the silver.

Two teams made up of players from Dawson City and Haines Junction took home the gold and silver in the U-10 boys event.

In the U-11 boys final, Castle Rock defeated Sport Yukon for the gold medal.

Haines Junction won the gold in the U-11 girls division, with Sale Salvage taking silver.

In the U-13 boys final, Yukon Yamaha defeated Alpine Aviation.

Driving Force won the gold in the U-16 girls event with a win over Alpine Aviation.
