Tuesday fun runs gearing down
A small group of runners were out at last night’s Tuesday Fun Run at F.H. Collins Secondary School.
A small group of runners were out at last night’s Tuesday Fun Run at F.H. Collins Secondary School.
The group included those preparing for a marathon effort in late November.
First across the line was Jonathan Zaugg, finishing the five-kilometre course in just under 18 minutes.
There is one more Tuesday Fun Run of the season next week before October 4’s Last Gasp. Following that race, the Yukon Athletics AGM will be held at 7 p.m.
While Tuesday night Fun Runs are gearing down, fall racing isn’t even close to being over with a slew of cross-country races coming up as well as the annual pilgrimmage to Victoria for the Marathon weekend in early October.
