An own goal by Danny MacDonald gave Yukon Brewing a 3-2 win over Quest in over-35 soccer action Saturday morning at the Canada Games Centre.

Yukon Brewing keeper Charlie McCleod and Quest’s Patrick Jackson were in top form, keeping their respective teams in the game with a string of great saves, but with the clock showing only two minutes to go, MacDonald turned the ball into his own net, marking the difference.

Earlier Doug Hitch and David Strachan also scored for Yukon Brewing while Andy Todd scored twice for Quest.

In other action, Klondike Business Solutions maintained their recent good form by battling to a 1-1 tie with Pepsi.

Returning favourites John MacPhail and Paul Scrubshall scored a goal apiece in the contest.
