Minor Softball season ends with tournament

The Yukon Minor Softball Championships marked the end of the season for junior sluggers last weekend.

The Yukon Minor Softball Championships marked the end of the season for junior sluggers last weekend.

Treated to beautiful weather on Friday and Saturday, teams battled for titles in U-12, U-14 and U-17 divisions.

In the U-12 division, Olson Fencing took first, with Softball Yukon second, Marsh Lake Tents & Events third and Yukon Office Supply in fourth.

Softball Yukon won the U-14 division, with P & M Recycling picking up second, Arctic Backhoe taking third and M & M Meat Shops taking fourth.

In the U-17 division, Dave’s Cleaning was first, with Yukon College in second and Arctic Backhoe picking up third.
