Learning to lead with the best

The Council of Yukon First Nations, in partnership with Yukon Indian Hockey Association and Northwestel Inc., held the 16th annual “Learning to Lead” hockey camp.

The Council of Yukon First Nations, in partnership with Yukon Indian Hockey Association and Northwestel Inc., held the 16th annual “Learning to Lead” hockey camp.

Youth from all over the Yukon took part in the camp. It included lacrosse with Nathan Wilson, group games with Ashley Callingbull (model, actress and First Nations activist who was Miss Universe in 2015), and hockey training with former NHL player Aaron Asham, Troy Stecher of the Vancouver Canucks and free agent Wacey Rabbit. The camp wraps up today.
