Montana kayaker Dave Hutchison and Ontario teammate Bob Ross continue to lead the way, and were the first of three boats to exit Kirkman Creek this morning – the second mandatory layover on the route.
Canoe duo Gaetan Plourde and Jeff Brainard are nearly 50 minutes behind, followed by British Columbia kayakers Gus Oliveira and Chris Spoor, who trail the leaders by 1:50.
