With the win, Assante now leads the league with 41 points.

Second-place TSL Contractors beat Earls Restaurant 19-11, while Yukon Tree Services edged Better Bookkeeping 16-14 during gameplay at Better Bodies Fitness.

In Div. 2 action last Thursday, Coast High Country Inn beat the Electrical Shop 21-11 to jump to an early lead in the standings.

Lee Walchuk (sub), Jen Meurer and Andrew Bielz all secured wins in their first games of the season.

Riverstone Dental Clinic also beat Sterling Insurance 19-13 while Yukon Brewing downed Bluewave Energy 17-15.
