SUSPICIOUS BLAZE – Fire badly damaged this Chevrolet Suburban at Sixth Avenue and Steele Street early Sunday morning.
Two vehicle fires in the last two days are both considered suspicious, according to Whitehorse RCMP.

Whitehorse fire chief Kevin Lyslo said Monday afternoon the department received a call to a fire at Sixth Avenue and Steele Street at 6:23 a.m. Sunday.
The fire, which started in a late-model Chevrolet Suburban, damaged two nearby vehicles but was knocked down quickly.
No one was injured.
Lyslo said the same was true of a vehicle fire on Taylor Street at around 6 a.m. Monday.
With this incident, only one vehicle was damaged. Again, no one was hurt.
Causes and costs of damage are unknown in both cases, Lyslo said.
Whitehorse RCMP are investigating both fires.
