The Co-operators Insurance Company of Whitehorse has joined the Pledge to Drive Safe!

As my car insurance came up for renewal, I decided to take the opportunity to sit down with The Co-operators’ owner, Jeremy August, and discuss the growing concern of distracted, impaired and aggressive driving and to get his point of view.

Mr. August was very welcoming. He was equally concerned about the rising dangers of distracted driving. He summed up his commitment to the Pledge with the following statement:

“Distracted driving: We are pledging to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.”

Thank you, Co-operators, for pledging to be part of the solution! These words are very encouraging.
